Facilitation

Wild Life Foundation’s facilitation model combines expert wilderness guiding with deep ecosystems knowledge, cultural integration techniques, facilitation processes, and sense awareness mentoring. The facilitation training includes focuses on individual and group processes, supporting transitions, and navigating complexity.

All Wild Life facilitators have: 

  • National wilderness guide accreditation for multi-day walking trails in dangerous game areas

  • Extensive experience in African wildernesses (35 000+ hours as part of the ecosystems they work in)

  • An intellectual and embodied understanding of peoples’ relationship with wildlife

  • Ability to rely on sensing, intuition, and instinct to professionally navigate wilderness and care for the people they are responsible for

  • Ability to integrate indigenous and local knowledge in their facilitation

  • Ability to facilitate group processes, learning and support integration
